Change is a process, not an event. Something that I’ve struggled with a little bit over the last few years is procrastination. Now, you could look at me and say, Liam, you’re not a procrastinator.
I’ve built three or four really profitable businesses. Ive written a book that was an Amazon bestseller (for a few days at least) and done loads of things in my life.
How can I possibly call myself a procrastinator
So the thing is, I would class myself as a serial procrastinator and I often struggle to do as much as I’d like to do. Sometimes I really struggle with procrastination and struggle to get things done, whether that’s through my belief systems or it’s through fear of judgment or fear of success is another one. So, yeah, I’ve always struggled with procrastination and it’s something that I am currently working on.
I’ve been working on my own procrastination for a little while and I came across this phrase today. Tt came at just the right the right time for me, so I thought I’d write a quick post about it. The truth is you don’t wake up in the morning having suddenly changed.
It’s a process over a period of time and that is the case no matter what you’re trying to change in your life.
Whether it’s fitness, weight loss, relationships, procrastination or trying to build a better business. If you’re trying to make positive changes in your life, don’t be too hard on yourself and realise that change takes time.
Sometime you don’t even realise you have changed until you look back at the old you.
Change isn’t instant like some of the life coaches and gurus will tell you. Okay, that’s me for today Take care.
Liam
